HOW TO MAKE LEMON GINGER SQUASH



Lemon squash is a very refreshing drink especially for very hot weather. I will prescribe how to make it.

Material
12 lemons (juice removed and filtered)
1 lemon peel
Ginger cut into 3 inches (grated and then squeezed to remove juice)
8 cloves
1/2 nutmeg
1 tablespoon of anise (fennel seeds)
2 pounds of sugar

Steps to make it

-        Add cloves, nutmeg, and anise into a dry and dry coffee grinder and then milled into a fine powder.
-        Add 1 liter of water to a large pan and bring to a boil over high heat. Add powdered spices, bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
-        Add sugar and simmer until you get a syrup with half a consistency. After the syrup is ready, lift and let it cool. Sediment of spices will settle during this time.
-        Strain the seasoning syrup in another bowl. Add lemon and ginger juice to the syrup and mix well.
-        Pour into a bottle and store in the refrigerator.
-        To serve it, pour the lemon into a tall glass, to taste and add shaved ice and cold water. Stir, garnish with lemon / lemon slices and serve!
